A. Eberle Africa (Pty) Ltd. has been an approved supplier of voltage regulation for power transformers with tap-changers - REG-D and REG-DA - for more than 25 years.

These devices have been supplied directly from Germany , the A. Eberle headquarter with manufacturing line and test facility (“ Made in Germany ”) , to various systems integrators in South Africa ( Eskom-approved until today !) and to a lot of other African countries too. Meanwhile the portfolio has been extended by mobile- and fix-installed Power Quality analysors for trouble shooting and PQ-monitoring and Low Voltage Regulation (LVRSys) reasoned by te transition of energy processes and by requested voltage stabilization, especially for sensible, industrial applications, e.g. inside of airports, harbours and data centers.

Mr. Till Sybel, ex-CEO of A. Eberle Germany (until end of March 2023), and CEO of A. Eberle Africa (Pty) Ltd., has decided to invest in Africa and established, together with his friend Mr. Brian Howarth, in parallel chairman of Magnet Electrical Supplies South Africa, a new business, which is much more customer orientated than before. This investment aims to support the African continent in general, on the one side with A. Eberle products and services, on the other side by another innovation – TrafoStick (BDV + DGA in one sensor! ) - to guarantee and continuously to improve the security of supply and availability of African energy networks.

Our Team

Our team comprises innovative and highly skilled professionals, committed to delivering excellence in every project. Under the leadership of our Managing Director and visionary, Till Sybel, A-Eberle Africa brings together multi-disciplined expertise and extensive industry experience, with a strong focus on voltage regulation of power transformers with tap-changers, power quality solutions, and outstanding customer service.

Brian Howarth, long-time associate and now business partner of Till, contributes over 30 years of invaluable experience in the electrical industry. Providing financial leadership is Financial Director, Narasha Ramlutchman-Nel, supported by Financial Manager, Omesh Sookrajh.

Driving business growth, Caroline Dawson oversees Southern African sales, while Tjaart van der Walt, Technical Manager, ensures the highest standards of technical excellence.

Further strengthening the organisation are Harry Browne and Colin Openshaw in Business Development, alongside Michaela Sybel, who provides essential business administration support.

Complementing the team’s efforts, Priya Girdari leads Marketing strategy and initiatives, while Keshni effectively manages office operations.
